At Convo Africa, James leads Heartbeats & Horizons, a dynamic platform equipping young professionals with the skills, networks, and mindset to navigate adulthood with purpose. His work reflects a commitment to redefining leadership and creating spaces where individuals can grow and communities can flourish.
James is also the author of three books, including Seeds in the Dark, and the host of Monday Boost with James Wetu, a platform where he shares insights on personal growth, leadership, and transformation.

Dr. Fridah is the Co-founder and Director of Convo Africa, where she brings together medical insight, strategic leadership, and deep empathy to drive health-focused innovation across the organisation. A trained Medical Officer with a growing specialty interest in neurosurgery, Fridah is passionate about reimagining healthcare in Africa. Fridah leads with grace, precision, and a firm belief in people-centred care.
She leads Doctor’s Bench, Convo Africa’s health and wellness programme designed to redefine healthcare. Through this patient advocacy platform, she bridges the gap between medical professionals, patients, and caregivers, making health more human, accessible, and responsive.
Under Doctor’s Bench, Fridah also leads Healing is Possible, a bold mental health initiative offering support, therapy pathways, and reintegration for individuals navigating emotional distress and substance use disorders.
Fridah is known for her rare combination of strength, pragmatism, and softness. She leads with empathy, solves problems with precision, and acts with calm determination. Whether in clinics, strategy rooms, or community forums, she shows up fully, thoughtful, and proactive, turning vision into action and real outcomes.
