The HiP Ngaru programme is a structured, 30-day community activation — from the training room to the streets of Kerugoya.

2 May 2026

Leadership Training

Half-day training for 200+ community leaders — chiefs, health workers, school heads, and business leaders — on mental health, reframing substance use and community action in Kirinyaga County.

9–23 May 2026

Free MH Clinics

Three Saturday mental health clinics offering free, confidential therapy to any Ngaru community member — staffed by qualified professionals from Convo Africa’s network.

23 May 2026

Youth Mural Day

Young people from Ngaru paint the community they aspire to build — a full-day creative session guided by a professional mural artist, leaving a permanent legacy.

30 May 2026

Community Walk
